After Flavour’s incredible announcement that his recent album, ‘Thankful’ has sold a million copies already, some people in the industry are calling the the hit maker out for lying.
Flavour had said that the album sold a million copies in 5 days to
the disbelief of many but Brymo came out and took a stance on the
matter.
The former Choc Boi went to his twitter page and began taking shots at the claim.
Well Brymo is not alone, questioning Flavour’s claoms, some fans have come and supported the
Good Morning Singer’s claim.
A fan asks:
What Obaino is what they count as SALES, the number
of disc it has shipped out to the world is not equal to the number of
SALES it has made on the album, rather the number of disc that has
gotten to the CONSUMER is the number of sales. A chain of distribution
is not completed without the CONSUMER. How did Obaino calculate the
number of disc that has been purchased by consumers? I didn’t get a
receipt when i bought mine, the disc don’t come with serial numbers,
they don’t get scanned by disc seller after been dispersed, how did they
count?
So many questions to answer.
The United States and Canada, Nielsen Soundscan and Recording
Industry Association of America monitor the rate of sales of music songs
and albums.
Obaino Music Inc. is the marketer for Flavour’s thankful album.
