Pastor Adeboye On Nigeria's 2015 Election

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has predicted that the February 14 presidential election will be violent-free.
According to Adeboye, who spoke in Awka, on Thursday, during the Eminent Personality Lunch at the Best Western Meloch Hotel, Awka, Anambra state, God will take control of the elections.

Tribune reports that he urged Nigerians not to fear or anticipate any violence in spite of the growing panic associated with the elections.
Quoting from Psalms 121:4, the man of God said nothing would happen before, during and after the presidential election.
He however called on Nigerian politicians to pray fervently and seek God’s face saying: “God gives power and whoever He desires, He gives it to.”
Adeboye begged them to play by the rules of the game.
We should be contented with what God gives or what He will give us, and it is not a do or die affair,” he said.
The cleric added that he was not a politician neither does he belong to any political party but was speaking the mind of God on the issue
The state governor, Willie Obiano was represented by the Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke and the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief Oseloka Obazi.
Pastor Adeboye had earlier said only God knows who Nigeria’s next president will be. It would be recalled that Pastor Adeboye, in his New Year prophecy to the nation, had said he would keep to himself what God told him would characterize the political atmosphere of the year.
One of Adeboye’s pastors, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo is contesting the elections as the running mate of Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Osinbajo had reportedly said after he was announced as Buhari’s running mate that he consulted Pastor Adeboye before accepting the APC offer.
