Fashion is getting its groove back. Spring’s 70s time warp has resurrected fringe, flares, jumpsuits, glam rock and more suede than you can shake a leg at. The haute hides were first spotted in New York at Derek Lam in the form of featherlight keyhole dresses, patchwork skirts and butter-soft jackets. Jason Wu carried the torch with a medley of sapphire and moss day dresses. Ditto for Joseph Altuzarra, who paired a suede blouse with a striped pencil skirt and Gucci‘s former Creative Director Frida Giannini, who worked it into belted trenchcoats, culottes and high-waisted button-up skirts.
