 Omotola Blast Presidency Over Death of Electrocuted UNILAG Student Popular Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade, has expressed dis-contempt over the care-free attitude of the Federal Government and the Lagos State government, on the death of a 300 level student of the University of Lagos.
According to the actress, the present administration isn’t acting in line with the positive change they have promised Nigerians, if the life of its citizens don’t matter.
Omotola expressed her dissatisfaction when after three days since the incidence occurred, both the federal and the Lagos state government, were yet to release a statement in respect of the death of the student.
She said “A Nigerian student is electrocuted and no statement from both state and federal government? Do Nigerians lives matter? How is there change when this government can’t show its people they are valued? Who do they work for? Cattles, Aliens? Negligence and lack of respect”
In another development, Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe Gentry, has placed all of her activities on hold to pay her last respect to her late Father in-law.
The beautiful actress is presently at Ilesa, Osun state, with her husband and family, for the burial ceremony of Pa Johnson Adedeji Gentry, who died on May 25, 2015, aged 77. Her husband Lanre Gentry and his family are already making plans to ensure their late father get a befitting burial ceremony.
