Jennifer Lopez "Not Mad" About Hot Bikini Body in Hamptons for Birthday With Leah Remini: Instagram Picture

Jenny from the Block… lookin' hot! Jennifer Lopez stripped down to a skimpy bikini while lounging poolside in the Hamptons on Monday, July 21. The picture, taken by Lopez's best friend Leah Remini, was posted to the global singing sensation's Instagram account alongside its backstory.
PHOTOS: J.Lo's hot body evolution
"She yelled at me 'DONT MOVE!'" Lopez, 44, recalled. The sexy bikini photo features Lopez wearing a hazelnut color bikini, hoop earrings, and a straw fedora, while reclining against a white chair. The American Idol judge flashes a big smile as she rests one hand against her thigh. "Another shot by Remini... #shemakesmelaugh #notmad #loca #loveher #shesgettinggoodatthis."

The busy "Luh Ya Papi" hitmaker and longtime bestie Remini have been relaxing at her Hamptons home as part of her 45 birthday festivities, which Lopez will celebrate Thursday, July 24.
A source told Us Weekly that the pair dined at Nick & Toni's last Saturday, July 19, while Entourage stud Adrian Grenier and Howard Stern dined nearby.

Remini has become Lopez's personal photographer of sorts since landing in the luxurious East Coast destination. Last Friday, July 18, Lopez shared another outdoor bikini snap of herself, which was also taken by Remini. "My friend took this pic. And made me post it! Guess who? @leahremini #vacation #summertime #feelingrelaxed #backtoworksoon."

While the two are besties, Remini managed to call Lopez out that same day …for being so darn stylish. The King of Queens star, who grunged it in a baseball cap for a lazy day by the pool, found Lopez in a chic silk head scarf and other girly accessories. "Can you be ugly once?" Remini yelled to her pal. "Can you be normal?… You're such a jerkoff!"

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, review: 'impressively un-stupid'

Matt Reeves's sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes never allows extraordinary special effects to outgun emotion and intelligence, says Tim Robey

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Directed by Matt Reeves. Starring: Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell. 3D, 12A cert, 130 min.
When we last left ape-world, aka Earth, at the close of 2011's prequel-cum-reboot Rise of the Planet of the Apes, relations between humans and our simian cousins were in tatters. They've only got worse in the intervening years: most of humanity has been wiped out by a virulent plague to which only 1 in 500 of our race is immune. Gaggles of survivors hang on by a thread, their resources all but extinguished.
Apes, on the other hand, are doing pretty nicely for themselves. Rampant in the wild, they're developing a sophisticated language through sign and speech. Many have a basic grasp of English. The rudiments of society are here – they've moved on quite a lot from those bone-tossing prototypes at the start of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Wrestling in eloquent, if grunt-heavy, debates over their place in the new world order, this lot could teach the House of Lords a few things.
The only factor preventing their global takeover is the stubborn ability of humankind to resist extinction by any means necessary, which – pointedly here – means taking up arms. Where its predecessor in the series imagined the growing consciousness of apes in revolt, this one plunges us into a war of gorillas versus guerrillas – a form of strife without clear winners, and one in which we're never forced to choose one side over the other.
We take sides within sides. On the ape front, the leader Caesar (Andy Serkis) is ever more aptly-named, finding his efforts at stable rule sabotaged by a scowling, scarred rival called Koba (Toby Kebbell), who wants rid of their hated primate relatives for good. Among the humans, a fuel crisis sends the former architect Malcolm (Jason Clarke) into ape territory outside San Francisco, where resuscitating a hydroelectric dam is his community's last hope to restore power. A wary truce is achieved, on the condition that he and his companions surrender arms, which they willingly do. But there are many more where those came from, back in the downtown stronghold where resistance leader Dreyfus (Gary Oldman) rules the roost.

Brad Pitt confirmed for Angelina Jolie's new film

Brad Pitt will be directed by his wife, Angelina Jolie, in upcoming film By the Sea

 By the Sea

The last time Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie starred in a film together – 2005's Mr and Mrs Smith – they promptly fell in love and have since got engaged. Nine years later and the pair will appear together on screen again – this time, however, Jolie will not only be acting, she will also be directing.
It has been confirmed that Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, will star in and co-produce By the Sea, which Jolie also wrote, and which Universal Studios have described as an "intimate, character-driven drama".
The actress and director, who has been working with Universal Studios on her current film, Unbroken, said: "I am very happy to continue my relationship with Donna Langley [co-chairman of Universal Pictures] and the entire Universal team as I finish Unbroken and begin work on By the Sea.
"They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker."
Langley said: "Angelina continues to showcase her extraordinary storytelling abilities in front of and behind the camera and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with her on By the Sea.

Davido: The Birth Of An African Star

 davido

In recent times, few artistes have attained the achievements of the young and talented Davido, who was crowned Best African Act at the 2014 BET Awards, June 29, 2014, at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
The Nigerian artiste beat Tiwa Savage, South Africa’s Mafikizolo, Ghana’s Sarkodie, Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz and Togos Toofan to win the award. The excited Davido tweeted ‘Thanks to all my fans!! WE WON!’
Earlier in June, the Skelewu singer also won the Best African Act award at the MTV Africa Music Awards. Who would doubt that he is currently the hottest artiste in Africa?
Davido does not shy away from his privileged background. In his single Dami Duro, he drummed his privileged background into our minds.
The song immediately shot him up to the A-list category, a well-envied and sought-after status occupied by top acts like Psquare, D’banj, 2face Idibia and another young star Wizkid. He soon morphed into Omo baba olowo, the rich kid who planned to dominate the music industry.
Many have attributed his success in the music industry to his father’s wealth, which is far from the truth. Davido is a producer; producers are better musicians because they create beats and follow the notes. Though financial stability also contributed to his achievements, there is no denying his talent.
Davido’s rise in the African music scene started in April 2011 when he released his single One Of A Kind. The song was strategically written to cater for the African market, with the singer naming several African countries in the chorus.
The music video followed the theme of the song, highlighting several African flags; that was all the pop star needed to break into the eastern and southern African markets, two regions where only the likes of Psquare and Flavour held ground.
Months after, Davido moved his music from Nigeria and Ghana into Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania, Liberia and turned into an international star.
Another huge single, the intoxicating Skelewu, which the artiste considered spiritual, blew him into space – the controversy behind the music video somehow played to his advantage, receiving millions of views on YouTube.
Davido went on a European tour, returned and visited several African countries. Photos and video clips show the young singer now pulls close to 30,000 fans outside Nigeria. It should also be noted that despite a catalogue of controversies, Davido’s career has soared, steadily gaining more and more fans.
Born David Adedeji Adeleke November 21, 1992, he is a Nigerian American recording artiste, performer, and record producer. In 2011, he co-produced and released Dami Duro, a song well received throughout Nigeria.
Along with his elder brother Adewale Adeleke, Davido is the co-owner of HKN Music, a record label home to Sina Rambo, B. Red,and DeeKay.
He has produced for numerous artistes, including Naeto C, Skales, Tiwa Savage, and Sauce Kid.
In April 2012, he signed an endorsement deal with MTN Nigeria. On October 23, 2013, Davido partnered with Guinness for the “Guinness World of More” concert. Davido has won a KORA award, a Channel O music video award, a Ghana Music award, a Nigeria Music Video Award, 2 MTV Africa Music awards, 3 The Headies awards, 4 Nigeria Entertainment awards, and 2 Dynamix All Youth awards, among others.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Davido relocated to Lagos at a young age. He released his debut album Omo Baba Olowo in 2012, which contained the single, Back When, featuring Naeto C. It also has Dami Duro; All of You; Overseas featuring Sina Rambo; Ekuro; Gbon Gbon and Feel Alright featuring Ice Prince. Davido has also released the singles Gobe, One of a Kind, Skelewu, Aye and Tchelete (Goodlife).
Many have compared the young artiste to Wizkid because they seem to go head-to-head in the music industry.

patoranking
Musical Artiste, Patrick Nnamemeka Okorie, popularly known as, Patoranking is one of the most talented new acts in the music industry at the moment.
In a new interview with Nigerian Tribune, he stated that he is the next big thing after the musical legend, Bob Marley.
He confidently said “My style of music is Patoranking style, it is that style that only Patoranking understands and could only be done by Patoranking. I try to carve a niche for myself and create a brand that nobody is doing, but just me. They could think of doing it, but they are not doing it. That is my style, I just like to be exceptional. I’m the next big thing after Bob Marley. I really love and respect him…”People tell me that a lot. A lot of people look at me and say ‘Boy, you are the next big thing after Bob Marley.’ It is not something I came up with, so I just had to claim it by faith.”
On how he came up with Patoranking, he said “I used to be called Patoraiko in school, when I was playing football. Then I remember one day I was at the Alpha Beach and there was this Jamaican man playing the guitar and I just decided to freestyle to the tune. And he looked at me and said he saw something big in me.
“So, for the respect he had for my freestyle, he said he wished to change my name. I had told him I was Patoraiko and he changed the Raiko to Ranking and ranking in Jamaica means ‘highly respected.” He disclosed

Paul-Okoye-Jude-Okoye-Peter-Okoye-and-Naeto-C-in-South-Africa-for-the-Channel-O-Video-Music-Awards-November-2013
The cold war between Psquare’s Peter Okoye and his brother Jude is far from over as confirmed in series of tweets dished out by Peter a while ago.
Angry Peter took to his twitter handle to reply fans and critics who have been insulting him on the social media for not attending his brother’s wedding on July 17th.
In the tweets, he reiterated that Psquare was all about Peter and Paul, implying that he still has issues with Jude Okoye.
“Just to remind some mufus, PSQUARE is PETER & PAUL and I am sure you know what that means. Talk shit again and you would be blocked. Mufus talking about family! My number one family for now is the one I have built and nobody can change that. People talking shit about blood is thicker than water, please which blood is thicker than the one of my children?” He wrote.
He further blocked many of the critics calling out fans for daring to speak against him.
He called them “Mufus” asking them to mind their business.

Shakira sets world record as first to get 100M FB likes

Colombian singer Shakira set a new world record in the social media realm after she became the first person to reach 100 million likes on her Facebook account.

No less than Guinness World Records confirmed the pop star set the social media record.

"The Colombian singer-songwriter reached the benchmark figure after posting a photo of herself in the Maracanã Stadium in Rio, Brazil last Sunday, prior to her performance during the closing ceremony of the 2014 FIFA World Cup," Guinness World Records said.

Shakira holds the distinction as most liked person on Facebook ahead of pop stars Rihanna and Eminem.

For her part, Shakira said she was "honored and humbled" about the milestone.

The singer also took to Facebook and Instagram to thank her fans.

"I am honored and humbled about reaching this milestone, because it's one that's purely about connecting with my fans from all parts of the globe. Social media and specifically Facebook has helped myself and other artists bridge the gap between the stage and the audience.  We've been able to create a conversation, where both artists and fans can share with one another their thoughts, achievements, the most important moments of their lives in photographs and videos, and have a real, ongoing dialogue," she said.

Guinness World Records quoted Justin Osofsky, Facebook’s VP of Global Operations and Media Partnerships, as saying: “The combination of Shakira’s global appeal, her authentic engagement with fans and her use of Facebook as a multi-media platform has positioned her to achieve the incredible milestone of 100M fans.”

A separate report on Mashable said Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself congratulated the singer: "Congrats! What an amazing milestone for an amazing person." Joel Locsin /LBG, GMA News

This may be a Plan B project, but it sounds like a grade-A idea to us.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are set to reunite on the big screen for the first time since 2005's Mr. and Mrs. Smith, this time costarring in the character-driven drama By the Sea, Universal Pictures announced Friday.
Jolie wrote the script and will direct the film, to be produced by Pitt, whose Plan B Entertainment most recently produced 12 Years a Slave and HBO's The Normal Heart.
No word on whether there are parts for the kids to make it a full-on family affair, but mom and dad are good for starters.

"I am very happy to continue my relationship with [Universal Pictures chair Donna Langley] and the entire Universal team as I finish Unbroken and begin work on By The Sea, " Jolie said in a statement. "They have created a very special place for storytellers, and I look forward to the continued passion and support they have provided to me as a filmmaker."
"Angelina continues to showcase her extraordinary storytelling abilities in front of and behind the camera and we are thrilled to extend our relationship with her on By the Sea," said Langley.  "Angelina and Brad represent two of Hollywood's brightest talents and we are excited to be a part of their collaboration on this powerful piece."
Jolie told E! Newsback in 2012 that she and Pitt had "an idea" for a movie they'd like to do together.
She referred to the finished product in May, saying, "I wrote something a few years ago for Brad and me. Just for fun. Just an independent little art piece. Because we don't get to do those as much as we'd like. But it's something really small and experimental."
(E! Online and Universal Pictures are both members of the NBCUniversal family.)

Rihanna On Karrueche Tran’s Fame: RiRi Says She’s Sad & Desperate To Get Famous

Rihanna, 26, didn’t think it was kosher for Karrueche, also 26, to drag the “Diamonds” singer into her Chris Brown drama during Kae’s BET interview with KeKe Palmer on July 16.
Now Rihanna is telling her friends that she suspects the model was trying to connect her name to RiRi’s for fame.

So imagine how that feels for me when I gotta get on Twitter and I see a whole bunch of stuff.”
To be fair, Karrueche also admitted that Rihanna was a bigger star than Breezy, so perhaps RiRi was pleased about that part!

Pitbull: Get Rich or Die Shilling

Pitbull: Get Rich or Die Shilling
Photograph by Christopher Leaman
Pitbull, born Armando Pérez, self-titled Mr. Worldwide, and often known simply as Pit, slides into his seat at a hotel restaurant about 25 minutes inland from South Beach. The place is well outside the Miami party scene and its paparazzi, and is either purposefully retro—deco chairs, white tablecloths, a waitress who must be 80 wearing bright coral lipstick—or hasn’t been updated in 50 years. It’s empty save for one of the biggest pop stars in the world and a group of his associates, all wearing suits, and clustered at two tables. Pitbull taps his water glass, and the waitress hurries over to fill it. His lawyer, Leslie Zigel, hands him an agenda, which offers topics like “Endorsement Deal Matters,” “Investments,” and, in capital letters, “DISRUPTION.”

Zigel and Pitbull started working together in 2010, after Pitbull closed his first major sponsorship deal, with Dr Pepper (DPS), which Zigel was representing at the time. “He told me he appreciated my approach to dealmaking and asked if I would consider joining his team,” says Zigel. “I’m a jazz bass player, and he liked that I thought like a musician, not a typical lawyer.” Zigel looks like Stanley Tucci and speaks to Pitbull encouragingly, like a cheerful high school gym teacher.

Zigel slides over a stack of articles about Bitcoin and mentions a possible sitdown with Merlin Kauffman, who runs a $7.5 million Bitcoin investment fund focused on the hardware that runs the currency. Pitbull flips through the pages quickly, not displaying much interest. In public, Pitbull is rarely seen without an enormous pair of aviator-style sunglasses, but he’s left them off for this meeting. His exposed eyes are ocean-colored, surrounded by little-girl lashes. Freckles dot his nose. There’s a Twitter (TWTR) joke that compares a picture of Pitbull to Lord Voldemort, and while uncharitable, there’s something to it, with that crowded, leonine smile and menacing cannonball-like head.

“I still want to know, what exactly is Bitcoin?” Pitbull says. “How real is it? Is it going to be adopted and be disruptive?”

“The people who are going to adopt it are young,” Zigel replies. “If it’s something they decide they want to do, it’s going to be a force to be reckoned with.”

“What makes this real money?”

Zigel, looking unsure, glances quickly at the articles Pitbull has shoved back toward him. “It’s very speculative right now,” he says. “There’s nothing that’s holding it together.”

Pitbull is dubious. “No gold, no nothing?”

“No banks behind it, no.”

“Are they having problems with the streets?”

Zigel’s eyebrows rise. Pitbull may be referring to the financial markets, or he may be referring to streets of a grittier variety. Pitbull, 33, spent much of his life navigating them, as he’s quick to mention. He’s a first-generation American whose parents came to Miami from Cuba, his mother in the 1960s as part of Operation Pedro Pan—Miami’s effort to get children out of the communist country—and his father in 1980. Armando Sr. was a low-level criminal and drug dealer; he met Pitbull’s mother while she was what Pitbull calls a “burlesque dancer.” By the time Pitbull was a teenager and trying to make it as a musician, he’d dropped out of school and was dealing drugs. In 2001 he hooked up with successful rapper Lil Jon and producer Luther Campbell, the frontman for 2 Live Crew, and in 2004 released his first album, M.I.A.M.I. It featured the single Culo, which peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100. Culo, which translates, roughly, to “ass,” is what’s referred to as reggaeton—an upbeat sound that combines hip-hop, Jamaican dancehall, and more traditional Latino music such as salsa. In it, Pitbull raps in English and Spanish, and his style is hypnotizingly monotone, making it an ideal counterpart for a great hook.
In the decade since, Pitbull has become ubiquitous and is moving into the territory of empire builder, along the lines of 50 Cent or Jay Z. His publicist, Tom Muzquiz, a peppy man with spiky hair who’s lingering at the next table, promised to figure out the perfect day for us to spend together to help me understand his boss’s reach and ambition. And it didn’t involve a yacht or a crazy night out in South Beach or anything to do with his outsize lifestyle. Exciting for Pitbull, now, is thinking about things other than partying, studio time, and ladies. (He has six children with an undisclosed number of women.)
