Leonard Nimoy, the actor who played the role of acclaimed Mr Spock in the worldly known Starship Enterprise movie ‘Star Trek’ has passed away at 83.
Nimoy passed away on February 27, 2015 at his Bel Air home in Los Angeles, his wife Susan Bay Nimoy confirmed to New York Times. He had been admitted to the hospital earlier in the week.

Also a film director, poet, singer, and photographer, Nimoy began his career in his early twenties, teaching acting classes in Hollywood and making minor film and television appearances through the 1950s.
He served in the United States Army and in 1965; he made his first appearance in Star Trek where he would go on to play the character of Mr. Spock.
Nimoy featured in close to 40 movies and over 40 TV series.
