Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, in reaction to the Boko Haram Yola blast, has emphasised the need for Nigerians to be more security conscious, and to offer information of any strange movement in their localities to the security agencies.
He said that the sect is in its “second phase” of onslaught, with the aim of subduing Nigeria.
Atiku spoke while visiting the Federal Medical Centre, Yola, Adamawa State on Friday, June 5, to visit and sympathise with the victims of the Thursday’s bomb attack near Jimeta market.
The APC Chieftain was in company of the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase; Adamawa State Governor, SenatorJubrilla Bindow; and Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency, Mohamad Sani Sidi.
