Two young men have been remanded in prison custody for allegedly committing homosexual acts.

Two young homosexuals

Two young men Ebuka Anyasi, 23, and Michael Ikegbunam, 19, have been remanded in prison by a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Onitsha, Anambra State, after they were accused of raping two boys, Ifechukwu Okafor, 14, and Tagbo Chukwuka, 13.
The court presided by Magistrate Nkemdilim Ike, heard that the two suspects allegedly conspired among themselves to commit felony by having carnal knowledge of  the boys, as well as locking both victims in confinement while the unnatural act lasted for seven days.
They allegedly carried out the act on June 6, 2015 on Okolonji Street, Odoakpu, Onitsha, according to the prosecutor, ASP Clem Nwancho.
Nwancho said that Anyasi and Ikegbunam belong in the cartel ofhomosexuals who were caught with the accused and granted bail by the police but had all jumped bail, arguing that if they were granted bail as advocated by the defence counsel, John Chukwuma, there were likely to disappear.
In her ruling, Ike directed the counsel for the defence and plaintiffs to submit a written application for bail and against bail before June 22, while ordering that the suspects be remanded in custody at the Onitsha prison pending the hearing.
