Jungle Justice Mob descend on thief in Ikeja

A car thief was almost burnt to death after he was caught in action.

But for divine intervention, a young man who broke into a parked vehicle to steal items from it, would have been dead by now after angry mob were hell bent on setting him ablaze but he was saved by a passing police patrol team.

According to an eyewitness, the young man and a partner who managed to escape, had broken into a Toyota Highlander SUV at a street off the popular Allen Avenue in Ikeja, Lagos, but luck ran out of the thieving duo as they caught by residents.

But one of the thieves manage to run away but the unfortunate one was beaten blue black and tires were hung around him in preparation to being burnt alive but his date with death was postponed by the police which rescued him and whisked him away.
