Hef claims Holly's memoir is a desperate move to stay relevant!
Hugh Hefner and Holly Madison
Hugh Hefner is finally responding to claims of abuse levied against him by former girlfriend,Holly Madison in her tell-all memoir, 'Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny'.
In her book, Madison claims Huge offered her drugs at the Las Palmas nightclub in Los Angeles back in 2001. She also revealed she was verbally and emotionally abused by Hef. Adding her boyfriend killed her self worth leading her to plastic surgeries and a shocking suicide attempt.
But in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Hef explains that: "Over the course of my life I’ve had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women. Many moved on to live happy, healthy and productive lives, and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight. I guess, as the old saying goes: You can’t win 'em all!"
Holly, who is now happily married to Pasquale Rotella and is mom to 2-year-old daughter Rainbow, also claimed that Hefner was a “manipulator” and would “pit” the girls against each other.
''I realized I wasn’t treated well. I’m done being afraid of people. I don’t have any loyalty to Hef. I haven’t talked to him in four years, so there’s no reason to reach out now. Besides, it’s the truth,'' Madison said.
